SAVE A CHILD’S HEART

In 2020 Maya Freeman, Jeff’s niece, contributed to Save a Child’s Heart earmarked towards the airfare of a child needing heart surgery at Wolfson Medical Center in Israel.

SAVE A CHILD’S HEART is an Israeli-based international non-profit organization that treats children suffering from congenital and rheumatic heart disease who cannot get adequate medical care in their own countries.  Through bringing children to Israel for medical care, performing missions abroad, and training medical personnel, Save A Child’s Heart  brings hope to families,  communities, and countries. As ISRAEL’S PREEMINENT HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATION, the organization transforms pediatric cardiac care around the world.

Since 1995, Save a Child’s Heart has treated over 5,000 children suffering from congenital and rheumatic heart disease. Approximately 50% of the children are from the Palestinian Authority and Gaza, Iraq, and Morocco, more than 40% are from Africa, and the remainder are from Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Americas.

Save A Child’s Heart provides life-saving cardiac surgery and other life-saving procedures for children at the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, Israel.
