ISRAEL GOLDSTEIN YOUTH VILLAGE

In 2021 The Jeff Astor Foundation for Pesach donated gift certificates to the lone soldiers living at the Israel Goldstein Youth Village.  All these soldiers came to the Village alone when they were entering 9th grade.

The Foundation funded the construction of the JEFF ASTOR PLAZA that is used as a gathering place for students to meet and mingle between classes.

In addition the Foundation also sponsors an annual JEFF ASTOR SPORTS DAY for the entire student body.  At the Village graduation ceremony the Jeff Astor Award for Excellence and Outstanding Performances in sports is presented to selected students.

The Jeff Astor Foundation continues to support Israel Goldstein Village – a residential middle and high school that caters to both new immigrants who live in Israel without their families, and to Israeli-born youngsters from underprivileged backgrounds.
